2008:
ANOTHER FEDERAL CASE won against Richland Twp for violation of First Amendment Rights - Supervisor Mike Zowniriw said the township "dodged a bullet". He knocked his colleague, Rick Orloff, a member of board that fired Stump. This case is "the 2nd lawsuit of its kind that Rick Orloff and (2 former) supervisors were involved in that they lost," Zowniriw said. "It's revealing a horrible trend as to the mind set of the governing body and some of its members." 12/06 the twp settled First Amendment suit involving Emergency Management Coordinator Patrick Murphy, who lost his post in '03. Murphy charged he was sacked for supporting Zowniriw's campaign for supervisor. - 6/08
